These square-type outdoor facilities offer 15,000 square feet of skating area, with obstacles such as a shark fin, a hand pad, and a euro-shaped hole with ledges and railings. The shelves and rails are all low to medium type. The bowl consists of three sections of 4, 6 and 8 feet, three hips curved from height to low, and a uniform transsexual radius of 8 feet throughout. It's a great place to learn the basics of skateboarding, inline skating, and BMX bicycles, as well as for the more experienced to work on more challenging tricks before going out on the street.
Lake Fairfax Park is one of the three largest lakes in Northern Virginia and is managed by the Fairfax County Parks Authority.
